Open House Celebrates 25 Years of operation under the management of Joanne Parker.
The Open House on February 17th, 2007 to help Joanne Parker celebrate her 25th anniversary of owning and operating the Academy of Music in Milton was a huge success. Past and current students alike came into the studio to congratulate Joanne, reminisce about the past and exchanging pictures. Many former students met old friends they used to play with and enjoyed catching up. The current staff presented Joanne with a photo scrapbook of current and past pictures which she will treasure forever. The work and time that went into its creation was greatly appreciated.
The Academy of Music firmly believes that the performance of music is an essential component for the budding musician. We create a variety of opportunities for students of all levels and abilities to get involved in an audience based performance. Here we have a picture of students performing for the elderly at the Martindale Retirement Residence in the Winter of 2007.
